I'm an Australian currently living in Austin, TX in the USA.

I currently earn a living programming, though I wouldn't call myself a programmer. If I had to attach a label to myself, I'd use the term autodidact.

I love learning, and my favorite things to learn about are programming, computer graphics, AI & machine learning, robotics, painting and creativity.

PDF Stitcher - Combine multiple PDFs into one

Last updated on 26 Jun 2013

For a while I’ve had a little utility script that will leverage Ghostscript and combine multiple PDF files into a single PDF. This script came about after finding a few really great free textbooks online that were broken up by chapter. This is both annoying to download and annoying to read.

After logging into my VPS for the third time just to stitch some PDF files together, I decided to turn my little script into a little service.
A few hours and a domain registration later, and I have the service available.

It’s available here: PDF Stitcher – Stitch Multiple PDF files into one

It’s super easy to use – paste the URL of a page that has a list of links to PDF files in the box, and press the button. The service will fetch all the linked files and stitch them together.

The source code for this service can also be found on my Github account just in case you want to self host.
