Tim Gittos

I'm an Australian currently living in Austin, TX in the USA.

I currently earn a living programming, though I wouldn't call myself a programmer. If I had to attach a label to myself, I'd use the term autodidact.

I love learning, and my favorite things to learn about are programming, computer graphics, AI & machine learning, robotics, painting and creativity.

“You want to know the difference between a master and a beginner? The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried” – doodlealley.com/2012/10/10/be-friends-with-failure/

“The ceramics teacher announced he was dividing his class into two groups. All those on the left side of the studio would be graded solely on the quantity of work they produced, all those on the right graded solely on its quality … the works of highest quality were all produced by the group being graded for quantity!” – sivers.org/qlq

365 Days of Drawing is going to be 365 failures in drawing. In an attempt to rekindle past skill in art, I’m deliberately practicing every day from January 1st, 2014, and recording it. I hope to get better at art, show my progress and possibly help anyone else who’s wanted to learn how to improve their art technique.
